Westinghouse Plasma Corporation’s plasma torch systems are proven in
metallurgical and waste-to-energy commercial applications. In Japan, WPC Plasma
gasification system has been used to process MSW for more than five years.
Plasma torches have also been used in cast iron foundry melting at a General
Motors plant in Defiance, Ohio since 1989.
